A backdrop or balloon arch can create an attractive focal point for photographs. You can enhance the area with a plinth, cake stand, neon sign, floral accessories or personalised signage, depending on the style of your event.

A backdrop provides a decorative background for a celebration or photo area. A balloon arch is a decorative balloon arrangement that can be placed around or alongside a backdrop, entrance, dessert table or focal area.
Combining both can create a more visually appealing event display.

Many Australian event-hire businesses offer individual items such as backdrops, plinths, cake stands, arches and signage, while others also provide bundled packages.
At Eventique, customers can enquire about hiring individual equipment items or selected combinations, subject to availability and the applicable hire terms.

Start by selecting a colour palette and overall style. For example:

• Elegant events: Neutral backdrops, white plinths and subtle décor
• Birthday parties: Bright balloon colours, themed props and cake stands
• Baby showers: Soft pastel tones, arches and decorative backdrops
• Corporate events: Branded signage, clean backdrops and coordinated display pieces
• Modern celebrations: Rippled backdrops, neon signs and minimalist props

The space required depends on the size and design of the equipment. Before booking, please check the product dimensions and make sure there is sufficient room for setup, access and safe use.
You should also consider ceiling height, doorways, stairs and the available space at your venue.

Some event props may be suitable for indoor and outdoor use, while others may require specific conditions. Outdoor use can be affected by wind, rain, uneven surfaces and other environmental factors.
Always confirm the suitability of the selected equipment with Eventique before booking.

It is recommended that you enquire as early as possible, particularly for popular dates such as weekends, holidays and wedding seasons. Early bookings provide more opportunity to secure your preferred equipment, subject to availability.

Eventique specialises in the hire of physical event equipment and props. Customers are responsible for arranging any styling, installation or setup unless a specific service is expressly confirmed in writing as part of their booking.

Yes. Items such as cake stands, plinths, backdrops and decorative display pieces can help create a coordinated dessert or cake table. Ensure that each item is suitable for its intended use and that food is not placed directly on equipment unless it is designed for food presentation.
